Mic off
Press Enable and allow the browser permission prompt. That is what requests your camera and mic. Your Sony camera shows up as a webcam once it is plugged in over USB and switched to its streaming mode. Your mic interface shows up as a microphone. Browser sound processing is switched off, so your voice stays yours. After the first time, the app remembers your picks and starts on its own.

Mirrored is the selfie view, how you are used to seeing yourself. The recording matches the preview.

Swap: camera full frame
Swap puts your camera full frame and tucks the backing video into the corner instead.
Swap: you on top
The original sits on top and you perform underneath. Swap flips it if you framed yours as the top half.

Guides on
Guides shade where the Instagram app itself covers your reel once it is posted: the top bar, the like and comment buttons down the right side, and the caption and music zone at the bottom. They sit on your preview only and are never in the recording.

Reset position
The finishing touches, baked into the take: a slow push in and out over about 24 seconds, a whisper of grain, and the warm buenos grade, without the extra darkening the instagram version added.
Sound
The lead vocal eq from your logic template, decoded band for band out of the pro-q in your project file: warmth at 300, body at 800, a little presence at 3.2k, the mud tucked at 395. First thing your voice hits, under everything else.
Speaker effect 65%
A wide telephone band on your voice, present but never tinny. Zero is your clean voice.
Echo 30%
A dotted eighth echo, locked to your tempo.
Reverb 30%
A small room around your voice. More verb and less echo, or the other way around, your call.
Width 30%
A pitch widener on your voice: two copies of you, a few cents flat in one ear and sharp in the other. A little goes a long way.

+
Plus delays your voice to match a lagging camera. Minus holds the picture back to match a late voice, the Riverside fix. Clap once on camera, then nudge until the clap lands on the picture.
0 ms
Slide toward Vocal to sit on top of the track, or toward Music to tuck in.
Master level, ceiling at minus 1 dB
Peak: quiet Gentle glue compression, then the ceiling. Nothing else.
Master drive +2.8 dB
Pushes the whole mix harder into the ceiling, like gaining into your limiter. A louder master, same minus 1 db peak.
